Responsibilities include:
- Prospecting, calling on and closing local advertisers for HumDesi Radio.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing top quality customer service.
- Act as HumDesi Radio's local representative including attending of events and remote broadcasts.
- Investigate and resolve client inquiries.
- Attend regular sales meetings/training sessions.
- Miscellaneous job-related duties as required.
Candidates should possess:
- Extensive ties to their local South Asian communities.
- Experience in a similar type role.
- Valid drivers license and vehicle.
Ability to work independently from a home office.
- Proficiency in both English and Hindi and ideally another South Asian language.

- On-air coverage of local events, shows and promotional activities.
- Production of local content and programming.
- Production of other programs as required.
- Company representative at local community events and activities.
Candidates should possess:
- A passion for radio and media.
- Good radio voice.
- Extensive knowledge of your local South Asian community.
- A love for the local/international South Asian music, news and community events.
- Proficiency in both English and Hindi and ideally another South Asian language.
- Previous radio experience and/or professional broadcast training is an asset but not mandatory.
